- CarraSmart Foam is an adherent foam with a gentle adhesive backing. it has absorptive capability and a high MVTR (moisture vapor transfer rate). It can be used for partial to full-thickness wounds with low to medium exudate, as a secondary dressing over wounds with fillers or packing and as a secondary dressing to absorb drainage around tubes.
