- AquaCel (hydrofiber dressing) absorbs rapidly and, by a process of (gel-inversion), immediately convert to a clear, cohesive gel-sheet dressing. The hydrofibers continue to absorb and retain exudate, providing a moist healing environment over the wound site. Gel-inversion allows non-adherent dressing removal, even as exudate diminishes, without disruption or trauma to the wound bed.
