- Spring coil extension assist (also called a Wynn Parry or capener splint). 3-1/4" in length, it uses a coil spring placed lateral to and in line with the PIP joint. Curved proximal and distal supports distribute pressure evenly. Extension assistance adjustable by altering distal strap.
