- Non-sterile Papette Cervical Sampler Only. By inserting into the cervical canal and rotating once or twice while applying light pressure, the 8" sampler collects endocervical, ectocervical, and T-zone cells. The soft, flexible polyethylene bristles of the Papette provide enhanced pressure control and prevent internal injury, which can result in smears obscured by blood during sampling.
