- Cargille Immersion Oil. Size: 1 fl. oz. (30ml), Type B High-viscosity Oil used in biomedical microscopy. Greatly increases light-gathering power with high-power objectives. Nondrying, so index will not change when exposed to air. Contains no polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) compounds. Up to 20 specimens can be examined without refreshing oil.
